Scott Holcomb, O.D.
Dr. Scott Holcomb, a native Virginian, earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry. He completed training in ocular disease and co-management at Omni Eye Services in Atlanta, GA.

In 1996, Dr. Holcomb opened Drs. Holcomb & Associates adjacent to LensCrafters in Marietta, with a second location opening in 2003. The Holcombs eventually focused their practice in the growing West Cobb area to raise their four children and build enduring relationships within the neighboring community.​

Shefali Patel, O.D.
Dr. Shefali Patel was born in Michigan and grew up in Huntsville, Alabama. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia. Dr. Patel graduated from the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Optometry with Honors in 2002. She has been with Drs. Holcomb and Associates since 2004. Dr. Patel is married with two children and enjoys reading and traveling in her spare time.

Jennifer Travis, O.D.
Dr. Jennifer Travis earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Widener University. She then went on to earn an additional Bachelor of Science in Visual Science and Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She completed externships in several different modes of practice, gaining valuable experience in disease detection, cataract evaluations, pre- and post-LASIK visits, and assessing eye health in relation to overall systemic health. Her time spent at the VA in Manchester, NH, ranks as some of her most rewarding personally and provided a vast wealth of clinical experience.
Today, Dr. Travis performs comprehensive eye examinations with a special emphasis on eye health. Dr. Travis diagnoses hypertensive and diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and other ocular pathology. She fits a wide variety of contact lenses, and especially enjoys assisting young patients with their first freedom from wearing glasses. Dr. Travis has been with Drs. Holcomb and Associates since 2005, shortly after relocating to Georgia.

Dr. Travis was born and raised in Portland, Maine, and enjoys visits home to see family and friends. In her spare time, she likes to spend quality time with her husband and daughter and 2 silly pug dogs. She also enjoys walking, music, reading, and attempts at gardening.
Dennis Bergin, O.D.
Dr. Dennis Bergin is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Optometry and has practiced in Cobb county for over 30 years. He has participated in multiple national clinical contact lens studies during his optometric career.

Dr. Bergin is an avid outdoor enthusiast and especially enjoys hiking, boating and traveling.
Ambareen Mohamed, O.D.
Dr. Ambareen Mohamed was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. She attended the University of Toronto where she earned an Honors Degree in Biological Sciences. Dr. Mohamed obtained her Doctorate of Optometry degree in 2002 from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She specializes in comprehensive eye exams, with an emphasis on contact lens fittings.
Dr. Mohamed has resided in Kennesaw since 2002. She is married and has two active boys and enjoys watching them play ice hockey. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves to travel. She also enjoys staying active and likes running and strength training.
