The Doctors and staff at Drs. Holcomb and Associates are consistent champions of information and practices that encourage our family, friends and patients toward optimal health. Long-term best practices include strengthening your immune system to function as it is designed – on the whole, our immune system does a remarkable job of defending us against disease-causing microorganisms.
Every system of your body, including your immune system, functions best if bolstered by healthy-lifestyle strategies:
· Eat a diet high in fruits and vegetables.
· Exercise regularly.
· Maintain a healthy weight.
· Get adequate sleep.
· Wash your hands frequently.
· Minimize stress.
We are following the Georgia Optometric Association guidelines for health care providers throughout the Georgia phases of reopening after coronavirus shutdown. With close proximity in the pretest and exam rooms, the doctors and staff will wear masks and request that our patients wear one as well (their own or one provided). Feel free to utilize the hand sanitizers placed throughout the office during your time with us. Surface disinfection will occur between each patient. Because we temporarily have limited occupancy, please come for your appointment with only one guest if necessary. Of course, as is expected, we respectfully ask that you reschedule your appointment if you are not feeling well, have a cough, shortness of breath, fever, have been around anyone who has these conditions, or have traveled outside of the US within the past 2 weeks. We appreciate the courtesy of 24-hour notice in the event of rescheduling.
Rest assured, everyone at Drs. Holcomb and Associates is excited about resuming our standard of excellence in caring for our community, one person at a time!
We hope to see you soon.
